The online application takes a couple of minutes to complete. From there, Amazon will provide you with a free UPS shipping label. Amazon covers all shipping costs, even if your item is returned but not accepted for trade-in. Of course, make sure your device is completely wiped of your personal information and restored to factory settings before mailing it.
It may take up to 10 days for your device to reach Amazon. Once Amazon receives and appraises your product, you'll get an email within two days informing you of its trade-in status.
