The real star of Tuesday night's Republican debate may have been the brooch worn by moderator Maria Bartiromo.
The Fox Business anchor captivated social media, with her giant red trinket surrounded by gold nest of sorts drawing comparisons to everything from a Hunger Games Mockingjay pin to the crown worn by King Joffrey in Game of Thrones.
There were also some Harry Potter comparisons, with people saying it looked like one of Lord Voldemort's horcruxes.

'Why is Maria Bartiromo wearing a horcrux?' wrote Travon Free on Twitter during the debate on Tuesday.
New York Times culture reporter Dave Itzkoff zoomed in on the pin in a photo on Twitter and did a side by side of that with a Mockingjay on fire.
The Independent Journal came up with nine things the brooch looked like, including a ring pop, the amber cane from Jurassic Park and Lord of the Rings antagonist Sauron.

Bartiromo has yet to respond to all the fuss around her pin, but has weighed in on Tuesday night's debate.
In an interview on Fox & Friends Wednesday morning she said her favorite moment of the evening was when the audience booed her after she said that Hillary Clinton had an impressive resume.
'I felt that one of the best moments was when I mentioned "Who is it on this stage that could beat Hillary Clinton,"' said Bartiromo.
'That's what GOP voters want to know. And when I started citing her resume, the audience did not like that.'
